At the end of the 1980s, a journey to the United States and a series of meetings gave him the inspiration to look for new ways forward and find fresh real estate solutions by meeting new demands in the market and offering complex development services that no one else in Italy was offering as the sector was still relatively new. In 1993 he broke away from the family business and created CDS and a million square metres of constructed space followed.
